Applicants for the post of teacher in Sun Yat-sen University must abide by national laws and regulations, be loyal to education, abide by academic norms, abide by the rules and regulations of the school, be rigorous in their studies, unite and cooperate, care for students, care for the collective, and consciously safeguard the reputation of the school.
Education and qualifications
Applicants for professorship should, in principle, have professorship or have served as associate professor for more than five years (those born after 1963 should have obtained a doctorate in principle); Apply for associate professor, who has the title of associate professor or has been a lecturer in principle (born after 1963 should have obtained a doctorate in principle) and passed the professional level test prescribed by the state; Applicants for the position of lecturer should, in principle, have the title of lecturer or have held the position of teaching assistant or obtained a doctorate, and have passed the professional level test prescribed by the state.
3. Performance conditions (based on the performance in the first five years of employment)
(1) A professor candidate must have at the same time: ① published more than 7 high-quality academic papers in important academic journals of this discipline (at least 5 of them are first authors or corresponding authors); Or publish more than 4 high-quality academic papers in important academic journals of this discipline (at least 3 of them are first authors or communication authors), and have officially published high-level works and professional textbooks (independently completed, edited or first authors). (2) presided over scientific research projects at or above the provincial level; Or as a major participant (within the top three) to participate in a key project at or above the provincial level or two national scientific research projects; Or presided over a national key project, a major project sub-project, or presided over a provincial-level major project sub-project, or won the third prize of provincial teaching and scientific research achievements and above (within the top three individuals).
(2) To apply for an associate professor, you must have at the same time: ① published more than 5 high-quality academic papers in important academic journals of this discipline (at least 3 of them are first authors or corresponding authors); Or published more than 3 high-quality academic papers in important academic journals of this discipline (at least 2 of them are first authors or communication authors), and have published academic works or professional teaching materials (above the second author). Hosting scientific research projects at or above the departmental level, or participating in scientific research projects at or above the provincial level as the main participants (within the top three), or hosting horizontal projects or international cooperation projects (the funding for liberal arts research is not less than 50,000 yuan; Science, medicine is not less than 200 thousand yuan), or won the third prize of the provincial teaching and scientific research achievement award (within the top three).
(3) Applicants for lecturer positions must publish more than 2 academic papers in publicly published academic journals, or have officially published academic works (second author or above). Those who publish papers in the most important academic journals in this discipline, or whose research results have important academic influence, or obtain patents with great application value, may be employed without the above basic performance conditions (subject to the confirmation and approval of the school).
