1987 1 month, a group of old comrades who retired from the education front began to build Wuhan Hongshan Yucai Self-taught University in order to give full play to their residual heat under the excellent situation of national education reform. On March 14 of that year, the former Hongshan District Education Committee of Wuhan issued a document (Wu Hong Education Committee [1987] 15), approving the formal establishment of Wuhan Hongshan Yucai Self-taught Examination University to provide self-taught examination services for aspiring young people in Wuhan.
199 1 year 10-may 2006 (Wuhan Hongshan self-taught university, Wuhan Hongshan self-taught university)
In August, 199 1, Wuhan Hongshan Education Committee Adult Education Association reorganized Wuhan Hongshan Yucai Self-taught University. On this basis, with the investment of Adult Education Association of Wuhan Hongshan Education Committee and the approval of the former Wuhan Education Committee (191] No.41), Wuhan Hongshan Self-taught University was formally established.
In order to standardize the name of colleges and universities, on August 3rd, 1998 and 1998, with the approval of the former Wuhan Municipal Education Commission (Wujiaoshe [1998] No.9), Wuhan Hongshan University was renamed Wuhan Hongshan College. In more than ten years' development, it has made positive contributions to the development of adult education and higher education self-study examination in Hongshan District, and accumulated rich experience in running schools for the college.
June 2006 to present (Wuhan Institute of Electronic Information)
In order to integrate educational resources and establish a long-term mechanism to standardize school-running behavior, Wuhan Hongshan College was taken over by Wuhan Lihong Education Investment Co., Ltd. in March 2006 and led by Wuhan Hongshan District Education Bureau.
On June 26, 2006, with the approval of Wuhan Education Bureau, Wuhan Lihong Education Investment Co., Ltd. reorganized the assets of Wuhan Information Engineering School and Wuhan Hongshan College to form a new Wuhan Hongshan College. It changed the single financing channel and equity structure of the college, set up a new management organization and a new college leadership team, and moved the campus to Wugong Road 1, Mafangshan, Wuchang, the hinterland of Wuhan University of Technology. In cooperation with Wuhan University of Technology, it held a higher education self-study examination class, which enrolled more than 2,000 students that year, making it the largest of the eight higher education self-study examination stations in Wuhan University of Technology. At the same time, it has also become one of the social aid institutions with strong strength in running higher education self-study exams in Hubei Province.
On February 26th of the same year, at 65438, Wuhan Education Bureau organized an expert group to supervise the school-running behavior according to the Notice of the Provincial Education Department on Implementing the No.49 Document of the Provincial Government on Regulating the School-running Behavior (E.J.F. [2006] No.46), and the leaders of the expert group and the Municipal Education Bureau have always fully affirmed and praised the school-running achievements of the college.
In April 2007, the Ministry of Education issued Document [2007] No.9, stipulating that subordinate colleges and universities should stop enrolling full-time adult classes and higher education self-study examination classes from the autumn of 2007, and our college should stop cooperating with Wuhan University of Technology in running schools. According to the Provisional Regulations on Higher Education Self-study Examination issued by the State Council, with the approval of the education authorities, he took the lead in enrolling students independently from the society in his own name.
After the reorganization, Wuhan Hongshan Specialized College, under the leadership of the provincial and municipal education administrative departments, strives to start a business and standardize its running. In a short period of one year, the brand of "self-taught students" has been built, which has brought unprecedented development to the college.
In order to implement the strategic policy of "promoting industrialization with informatization and promoting informatization with industrialization" put forward by the Party and the state, we should give priority to the development of information industry, vigorously popularize the application of information technology, take a new road of industrialization and promote the leap-forward development of social productive forces. Relying on the geographical advantages of being located in the hinterland of Wuhan University of Technology and the rich resources of higher education in Hubei Province, the College has formed its school-running characteristics with electronic information technology as the main feature. In order to reform the traditional teaching mode and solve the practical problem of graduates' employment difficulty, the college integrates skill training into education and teaching activities, strengthens students' practical training, organically combines academic education with skill training, and implements the characteristic talent training mode of "undergraduate+technician".
On June 1 1, 2007, with the approval of Hunan Provincial Education Department and Wuhan Education Bureau, Wuhan Hongshan College was renamed as "Wuhan Institute of Electronic Information", which laid a good foundation for the college's leap-forward development.
In September 2008, Wuhan Lihong Education Investment Co., Ltd. applied for the establishment of Wuhan Information Engineering Vocational School (secondary vocational education), which was also established in our college with the approval of Wuhan Education Bureau. In the management system, "two brands" and "one team" are implemented, and the two schools complement each other and develop together.
In order to further straighten out the management system, standardize the school-running behavior, and promote the healthy development of non-academic institutions of private higher education, according to the provisions of the Higher Education Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the Administrative Licensing Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) and Decree No.268 of the Provincial People's Government in September 2004 on the administrative licensing matters of the Provincial Education Department, the Hubei Provincial Education Department (Hubei Education Department Letter [2008] 16) inspected and re-established non-academic institutions of private higher education approved by various localities. After careful evaluation by the expert group, on May 27th, 2009, the Provincial Department of Education (E.J.F. [2009] No.26) re-recognized Wuhan Institute of Electronic Information.
