School of Economics of Fudan University is a subordinate department of Fudan University. Its predecessor was the Department of Economics of Fudan University 1922, and the School of Economics was established in 1985.
By the end of 20 13, the college had 8 organizational units including Economics Department, World Economics Department, International Finance Department, Public Economics Department, Insurance Department, World Economics Research Institute, China Socialist Market Economy Research Center and Finance Research Institute, 1 "985 Project" innovation base and 28 research institutions. Faculty 173, including 45 professors and 52 associate professors.
The college has excellent teaching and research conditions, and has modern teaching and research facilities such as literature center, "985 Project", "2 1 1 Project" and teaching innovation laboratory. The Institute has established a fixed information exchange relationship with academic institutions in the World Bank, the United States, Japan and other countries, and has a European Isomorphism Center, which is the first information center established by the European Union in China. World Economic Papers, the journal of the College, is a national first-class core publication and enjoys a high reputation at home and abroad. In addition, the School of Economics regularly holds HSBC Economic Forum and Fudan Economic Forum, inviting famous scholars at home and abroad to promote academic exchanges.
