The College of Continuing Education of Shenyang Gong Li University, formerly known as the Department of Adult Education of Shenyang University of Technology, was established in 1983. Adult Education College of Shenyang University of Technology was established in May 2004, 1988, and in July 2004, it was renamed Continuing Education College of Shenyang Gong Li University. It has been running for 32 years.

The College of Continuing Education is a secondary college established by each university. It is a second-level teaching unit set up by universities to specialize in undergraduate education, special education, short-term training and other academic education and non-academic education. This is a college under the jurisdiction of a university. Its level is the same as other secondary colleges such as Law School and School of Economics and Management, and it is a branch of the university.

Ordinary full-time undergraduate education is obtained through the college entrance examination, which is the difference between the two.
