1, Shanxi Datong University
Shanxi Datong University, referred to as "Datong University" or "Datong University", is located in the historical and cultural city of Datong. It is a multidisciplinary university in Shanxi Province. It is the first batch of pilot universities in the national "excellent doctoral education and training plan" and the only university in Shanxi Province.
The history of Datong University in Shanxi can be traced back to 1950s. Approved by the Ministry of Education in March 2006, it was formed by the merger of the former Yanbei Normal College, Datong Medical College, Datong Vocational and Technical College and Shanxi Industrial Vocational and Technical College.

Datong Coal Vocational and Technical College, located in Datong City, Shanxi Province, formerly known as Datong Mining Bureau Staff University. 1999, Shanxi Mining Vocational and Technical College merged with Datong Coal Industry School.
