Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. is a state-owned holding enterprise engaged in automobile production. It was incorporated on1October 8, 1997, and its headquarters is located in Wuhu City, Anhui Province. As of 20 19, its chairman and general manager is Yin Tongyue.

1995, Wuhu delegation found his hometown Yin Tongyue when visiting FAW. Yin Tongyue 1983 graduated from Hefei University of Technology, majoring in automobile engineering, and then worked in FAW 12 and a half years. He used to be the workshop director of FAW-Volkswagen, and was elected as "Top Ten Outstanding Youth" of FAW, which made him famous in FAW.

After discovering this geographical talent, Wuhu "pestered" and invited Yin Tongyue back to Wuhu to take charge of the automobile project. Moved by each other's sincerity, Yin Tongyue finally accepted the invitation.
