Another interesting tradition is to let freshmen try to ring the bell in the bell tower and run around the big court at noon on the day of the banquet. Students must run the 367-meter-long courtyard in the bell tower in 43 seconds, which is a challenge even for track and field athletes. Trinity College's Summer Maydance is the second most famous dance in Britain.
