Shen Congwen (1902- 1988) is a famous writer in China, formerly known as Shen Yuehuan, whose pen names are Xiu, Shang Guanbi and Xuan Ruo. Maolin, whose real name is Chongwen, is from Fenghuang, Hunan. Grandfather Shen Hongfu is Han nationality, grandmother Wei Liu Miao nationality and mother Tujia nationality.

14 years old, joined the team and roamed the Hunan-Sichuan-Guizhou border region. From 65438 to 0924, he began to create literature, and wrote and published novels such as Long River and Border Town. 193 1- 1933 taught at Qingdao university.
