The fourth edition of this book is still revised by Professor Luo from the Department of Applied Mathematics of Tongji University. This revision has been carefully scrutinized from the teaching point of view, and some contents and exercises have been added to make the content and system more complete and convenient for teaching. This book consists of six chapters: determinant, matrix and its operation, elementary transformation of matrix and linear equations, linear correlation of vector groups, similar matrix and quadratic form, linear space and linear transformation. The answers to the exercises are attached at the end of the book. This book still retains the advantages of the third edition, with rigorous structure, clear logic, concise narrative and many examples, which can be used by various majors in higher engineering colleges and can also be read by scientific and technological workers.
