The school was established in 1956, formerly known as Jiangjin City Commercial Staff School, to carry out cadre education and training. 1974 full-time technical secondary school education; 1983 was renamed Chongqing No.2 Finance and Trade School; In 2007, it was transformed into an ordinary higher vocational college, renamed Chongqing Vocational College of Finance and Economics, and held higher vocational education.
