"Caring for Education" is a brand activity of Sun Yat-sen University Caring for Education Association. The purpose of this activity is to call on college students to go deep into poverty-stricken areas, understand the living conditions of local dropouts, collect first-hand information and give it back to teachers and students in time, and find sponsors for them through the activities of the Student Aid Week, so that dropouts can return to school as soon as possible.
As of July, 20 14, the association has carried out 14 summer (cold) holiday study tour, organized study tour members to visit poor students in Sichuan, Guangxi, Shaanxi, Yunnan, Hunan, Shaoguan, Guizhou and other places at their own expense, and carried out 14 school love study tour week. By the end of February, 2065438+2004, 4 180 poor students had been subsidized, with a total subsidy of more than 3.6 million yuan.

Many people in the society have also become sponsors of poor students, and participated in summer vacation study tours with students from China Normal University, South China Institute of Technology, Guanggong and Foshan University. This activity has been supported and praised by the local government and the masses, and has also received extensive attention and support from CUHK teachers and students. It is the financial support of CUHK teachers and students and good people in society that enables poor local students to continue their studies. Some students have realized their college dreams. Among them, six aided students have been admitted to Fudan University, Beijing Normal University, Tianjin University, Sichuan University, Sichuan Yibin Normal University, Guangxi Art College and other universities to join the ranks of caring students.
