Applicants should have the following qualifications:

Have People's Republic of China (PRC) nationality;

Generally, the age is above 18 and below 35. In 2023, the master's and doctoral students will be relaxed to below 40.

Support the Constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the leadership of the China Producer Party, and support the socialist system;

Have good political quality and moral conduct;

Have the physical conditions and psychological quality to perform their duties normally;

Have the ability to work in line with the requirements of the post;

College degree or above;

Have other qualifications required by the proposed position as stipulated by the competent department of central civil servants.

Except for some special positions and professional positions, the central authorities and their directly affiliated institutions at the provincial level mainly recruit people who have been in grassroots work experience for more than 2 years. Institutions directly under the municipal level and below mainly recruit fresh college graduates. Grassroots work experience refers to working in county and township party and government organs, village party organizations or village committees, and various enterprises and institutions. The experience of working in military regiments and units below the equivalent regiments, the experience of retired soldiers in active service, and the experience of unemployed college graduates leaving school to participate in internships for college graduates or participating in project research in enterprises and institutions can all be regarded as grassroots work experience. Those who apply for the Central Authorities and have worked in directly under the authority can also be regarded as grassroots work experience. Work experience of municipal authorities is regarded as grassroots work experience. The calculation deadline for grassroots work experience is 2022 10.

According to the "Opinions on Doing a Good Job in the Examination of Grassroots Civil Servants in Difficult and Remote Areas", institutions directly under the county level can take measures such as lowering academic qualifications, relaxing professional conditions, not limiting working years and experience, and delineating written test scores separately to appropriately lower the threshold for entering the examination. Those who are hired by lowering the entry threshold and other preferential policies shall have served in the hard and remote county and township organs within the municipal area where they apply for 5 years; If it is less than 5 years old, it shall not be communicated to the higher authorities in the city and the organs in non-hardship and remote areas, nor shall it be communicated to other cities in the province and organs outside the province.

Servicemen, non-fresh graduates, on-the-job civil servants and government functionaries who refer to the civil service law are not allowed to apply for the exam.

Persons who have received criminal punishment for crimes, those who have been expelled from China's * * * Party membership, those who have been expelled from public office, those who have been listed as targets of joint punishment for dishonesty according to law, those who have been found to have serious violations of employment discipline such as fraud in the recruitment of civil servants at all levels, those who have been dismissed for less than five years according to the Civil Service Law, and those who are not allowed to be employed as civil servants according to laws and regulations are not allowed to apply for the examination.

Candidates are not allowed to apply for positions that constitute the circumstances listed in the first paragraph of Article 74 of the Civil Service Law after employment, nor are they allowed to apply for positions of employers with husband and wife, lineal blood relatives, collateral blood relatives within three generations, and close in-laws as leading members.
