Brief introduction of Hebei Institute of Physical Education:

Hebei Institute of Physical Education is the only independent undergraduate physical education institution in Hebei Province, located in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. The school motto of the current Party Secretary and President is Chongde, Li Neng, Cartography and Innovation. In June 2020, the official website of the College showed that the school has two campuses, Xuefu Road Campus covers an area of more than 500 mu, Zhengding New District Campus covers an area of more than 200 mu, and there are 1 1 departments and 1 affiliated sports schools.

College was established in Tianjin on April 1958, with 463 full-time teachers and approved by Hebei provincial government. It was established on the basis of the overall establishment of the physical education department of Hebei Normal University and began to enroll students. 1In August, 985, the State Education Commission officially approved the construction of a college on the basis of the school site of Hebei Sports School.

Development history of Hebei Institute of Physical Education;

1985, with the approval of the former State Education Commission, the Department of Physical Education of Hebei Normal University and the Physical Education Professional Class of the Provincial Sports Commission merged to form Hebei Institute of Physical Education. In 2002, the Department of Sports Human Science was established. In March, 2003, with the official approval of the Education Department of Hebei Province, the Oriental University Town Base of Hebei Institute of Physical Education was established in Langfang, with the direction of golf management as social sports and tennis as sports training. In May 2005, the CPC Hebei Provincial Committee adjusted the leadership of Hebei Institute of Physical Education.

After that, the new leadership team updated the school-running concept, adjusted the school-running orientation and development goals, reconfigured, integrated and optimized sports resources according to the requirements of the big sports concept, and purchased 300 mu of land in the college headquarters. According to the decision of the provincial party committee and the provincial government on the merger of Hebei Institute of Physical Education and Hebei Sports Center, the development strategy of the second venture was formulated. In July 2005, Hebei Sports School was merged into Hebei Institute of Physical Education. With the approval of the Ministry of Education, the dance major was officially enrolled.
