Tsinghua University's predecessor, Tsinghua Academy, was founded in 19 1 1, and 19 12 was renamed Tsinghua Academy. 1928 changed its name to National Tsinghua University. 1937 after the full-scale outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, it moved south to Changsha and jointly established the National Changsha Temporary University with Peking University and Nankai University. /kloc-moved to Kunming in 0/938 and changed its name to National Southwest Associated University.
