School history
The thread of running a school can be traced back to 1902, when a normal school was established in Shandong University Hall. 1950 10, Shandong Normal University was established on the basis of the former School of Education of East China University and Shandong Administrative Cadre School. It is the earliest undergraduate university in Shandong Province after the founding of New China. 1952, the former cheeloo University merged with the departments of physics, chemistry and biology. 1September, 1970, the school authorities and some departments moved to Liaocheng to run a school. 1April 1974, moved back to Jinan. 1981March, the school was identified as a provincial key institution of higher learning; In August of the same year, it was renamed Shandong Normal University. On October 20 12, 1 1 year 10, the school was identified as the first batch of famous schools in Shandong province focusing on the construction and application of basic talents. On March 20 14, the school was approved to build a university for Shandong Province and the Ministry of Education. 20 17 1 1 month, the school was rated as the first national civilized campus.
