Beihang University, referred to as Beihang University for short, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Central Government of the People's Republic of China. Xi Aviation College, located in Xi, the ancient capital of the world famous historical city, is a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning with engineering as the mainstay and multidisciplinary coordinated development.

The school was founded in 1955, formerly known as Xi 'an Aviation Industry School, and was affiliated to the former Ministry of Aviation Industry. 1957 merged with Lanzhou aviation industry school; 1960, upgraded to junior college, renamed Xi 'an Institute of Aviation Industry; 1985 was upgraded to Xi' an institute of aviation industry and technology with the approval of the former state education commission; 1993 changed its name to Xi 'an Institute of Aviation Technology. 1999 was placed under the local government, under the people's government of Shaanxi Province, and built institutions for the central and local governments. 5. China Civil Aviation Flight Academy

China Civil Aviation Flight Academy (CAFUC), located in Guanghan City, Sichuan Province, the hinterland of Chengdu Plain, is a university directly under the central government, and has been selected as the pilot unit of "MPL" course promoted by the United Nations and the "double-class" construction plan of Sichuan Province. It is the world's largest flight training institution and the largest school dedicated to flight training.
