Nanjing University:
Nanjing University, referred to as Nanda for short, is a comprehensive national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It ranks among the world-class university construction universities (Class A), excellent engineer education and training programs, excellent doctoral education and training programs, national demonstration universities for deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform, demonstration bases for returned overseas students of the Ministry of Education, and national-level dual-innovation demonstration bases.
Nanjing University can be traced back to Nanjing Imperial College in 258 AD. The modern history of Nanjing University began with Sanjiang Normal School founded by 1902. After that, it was renamed Nanjing University on 1950 through Liangjiang Normal University, Nanjing Higher Normal University, National Fourth Sun Yat-sen University and National Central University. After the adjustment of 1952 departments, Nanjing University merged with the College of Arts and Sciences of Jinling University founded by 1888 and was still named Nanjing University.
Southeast University:
Southeast University, referred to as "Dongda", is located in Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province. It is a national key university directly under the central government and one of the original four engineering colleges. It is a member of the Ministry of Education's demonstration base for studying in China, the self-examination unit for degree authorization, the alliance of outstanding universities, the China-Europe engineering education platform and the Yangtze River Delta university cooperation alliance, which is jointly established by the Ministry of Education, Jiangsu Province and the State Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense.
1952 National faculty adjustment, with the former Institute of Technology of Nanjing University as the main body, merged into relevant departments of Fudan University, Jiaotong University, Zhejiang University and Jinling University, and established Nanjing Institute of Technology in the original site of Central University; In May 1988, the school was renamed Southeast University; In April 2000, the former Southeast University, Nanjing Railway Medical College and Nanjing Jiaotong University merged, and Nanjing Geological School merged to form a new Southeast University.
Nanjing University of Science and Technology
Nanjing University of Science and Technology (hereinafter referred to as "South Institute of Technology"), located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, is under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Co-founded by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the "985 Innovation Platform for Engineering Superiority", it was selected into "11plan", the University Alliance of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, B8 Collaborative Innovation Alliance and CDIO.
The school was founded in 1953 by the Military Engineering College of China People's Liberation Army. After the development stages of Artillery Engineering College, East China Engineering College and East China Engineering College, it was renamed Nanjing University of Science and Technology on 1993.
China Southern Airlines University (NUAA)
Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (hereinafter referred to as China Southern Airlines (NUAA)), located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, is a comprehensive national key university directly under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, featuring aerospace and civil aviation and focusing on science and engineering.
It is a national "double-first-class" construction university, a national "21Project" and "985 Engineering Advantage Discipline Innovation Platform", selected as a national "1 1 Plan", a new engineering research and practice project, a national demonstration university for deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform, and a national college student cultural quality education.
