By February 23, 2022, Jinan University had applied for the reexamination list of Dr. Sunrise on May 23, 2022.

According to official website of Jinan University School, the re-examination list for doctoral candidates in 2022 is May 18.

Jinan University, referred to as Jida for short, is the first overseas Chinese institution of higher learning founded by the state in China, directly under the leadership of the United Front Work Department of the Central Committee.
