The Graduate School of Hunan Normal University was established in 1938, located in the famous historical and cultural city of Changsha. It is a key university built by the national "2 1 1 Project" and an excellent university evaluated by the Ministry of Education. The school has five campuses, covering an area of 1.68 hectares and a building area of 1 10,000 square meters. The main campus faces Lushan Mountain in the west and Xiangjiang River in the east, with beautiful scenery. It is one of the "400 Best" greening units in China.

The school has 24 colleges and 3 teaching departments, and the undergraduate and postgraduate majors cover philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agronomy, medicine, management, art and other disciplines 12.
