Citizens enlisted in the army and their families are respected by the society and enjoy the treatment of soldiers and their families according to law. Servicemen enjoy the following preferential treatment:

4. Preferential payment

After joining the army, food, clothing, housing and medical care are provided by the state. 6. Family insurance

7. Pension

Conscripts are discharged from active service after serving for two years. The army pays about 56 100 yuan for pension and occupational annuity, 9,000 yuan for retirement, and about 5,000 yuan for retirement, travel expenses, medical insurance, 1 month allowance and living expenses. The tuition fees paid by college students enlisted in the army or the national student loans obtained during their school days shall be compensated. Students studying in colleges and universities (including freshmen) are free of tuition when they return to school or enter school after retirement. Undergraduate and junior college students can get a maximum of10.2 million yuan per year, and graduate students can get a maximum of10.6 million yuan per year.

9. "Two gold and one supplement"

1 Parental support. Officers, noncommissioned officers and civil servants whose parents have reached the age of 60 can receive 600 yuan alimony every month, and adoptive parents or grandparents who have certain custody rights can also receive it;

2. Military spouse honor money. Spouses of officers and noncommissioned officers in active service, as well as spouses who have been transferred from active service to civilian personnel, will be awarded honorary bonuses, and each person will receive a monthly 500 yuan. At the same time, eligible military couples can enjoy the honorary gold of military spouses;

3. Living allowance for separation of husband and wife. Adjust the separation fee between the two places in the same prefecture-level city, and temporarily study and work outside the military for more than 6 months (inclusive). Active-duty officers, non-commissioned officers and active-duty civilian personnel who live in two places can enjoy the severance payment of 1000 yuan/month;
