Differences between Academic English and Workplace English
The difference between academic English and workplace English lies in the focus, scope and goal. Academic English is aimed at academic people, such as college students, professors and experts. Most of them are English related to science and technology; Workplace English is a kind of English widely used in the profession. A certain field is dedicated to the British, such as translation.
