Chen Long, born in June1989+1October 18 in Shashi District, Jingzhou City, Hubei Province, is a badminton player in China and an Olympic champion.

Early experience

Chen Long,1June 1989+1August1October, was born in Jingzhou, Hubei. 1996 entered Jingzhou Children's Sports School; Joined the Xiamen team in 2000. Because of his poor physical quality and strength, he got the best result in his youth and was one of the top eight in China. In 2005, he was selected for the national youth team. After three training sessions of the China Youth Team, Chen Long joined the second national team on June 9, 2006, thus stepping into the door of the national team.
