Xu Zidong, born in Shanghai, 1982 graduated from East China Normal University, 1998 graduated from the Chinese Department of HKU with a doctorate. Now living in Hong Kong, he is a professor of Chinese Department of Lingnan University in Hong Kong. Since 2008, he has been the head of the department, teaching Hong Kong literature, China contemporary literature, modern literary criticism and other disciplines. At the same time, he also served as an adjunct professor in the Chinese Department of East China Normal University and vice president of the China Literature Theory Society. At present, he is the guest host of the Chinese channel "Three Faces of Tang Qiang" of Phoenix Satellite TV. His wife is Chen Yanhua, a famous anchor called "Sister Swallow".
