(1) Zoning: Handan Campus is divided into four areas by Handan Road, Guoding Road and Railway (demolished). Handan Road is the main road running through Fudan Campus and the traffic artery of Shanghai. In order not to affect the overall pattern of Fudan Campus, the Zhonghuan Road Viaduct passes through the ground when passing through Fudan Campus, which is called "Handan Road Tunnel".

This headquarters (in a narrow sense) is located in the north of Handan Road, west of Guoding Road and south of the railway (demolished). It is the main place for teaching activities.

The southern district is located in the south of Handan Road, on both sides of Quanguo Road. Mainly the living quarters for undergraduates. There are also the fifth and sixth teaching buildings, the school of economics, the school of management, the liberal arts building and the entrepreneurial base building in this area.

The north area is located on the north side of the railway and on the south side of Wudong Road. It is a living area for graduate students and international students.

Located on the east side of Guoding Road, the East District is the living area for some freshmen and a few seniors, and the School of Journalism is also located here.

1. Road

Guanghua Avenue: the east-west avenue in the middle of the campus is the main road in Fudan campus, commonly known as Nanjing Road in Fudan. The name comes from "Sun Moon Guanghua, Dan Fudan Xi".

Riyue East Road and West Road: The portrait of Chairman Mao enters the two north-south avenues on the left and right sides of the school gate.

Wang Road: the east-west road south of Guanghua Avenue and in front of the Science Library, connecting Yanyuan, Chen Wangdao Statue (hence its name), Xiyuan and other leisure places.

Xiang Bo Road: The east-west road to the north of Guanghua Avenue is also the main road, connecting Xianghuitang and Guanghua Building. Named in memory of Mr. Ma, founder of Fudan University.

Deng Hui Ring Road: A circular road named in memory of the old headmaster, Mr. Lee Teng-hui, which surrounds the lawn in the south of Xiang Hall.

2. Architecture

Xianghuitang: Originally named Deng Huitang, it was built in the early summer of 1947. The 80th anniversary of the school (1985). To commemorate Mr. Ma and Mr. Lee Teng-hui forever, the school leaders renamed it Xiang Hall and asked Mr. Ma to write an inscription. As a stage, all kinds of performances, speeches and reports may be held in the Xianghui Hall.

Guanghua Building: A comprehensive teaching building built during the centenary celebration, which is the tallest building in Fudan and one of the landmark buildings in Yangpu District. Located on the east side of the teaching area of the headquarters, near the school gate of Guoding Road. Building height 142m, with 30 floors above ground (except equipment floor) and 2 floors underground. The project cost is about 550 million RMB, and the construction area is120,000 square meters. According to statistics, it is the third tallest building in the world and the tallest building in Asia. It is used for teaching. The main building consists of two towers, the East Tower and the West Tower, with high wings. The west building is mainly about literature, history and philosophy, and the east building is about mathematics and other sciences. There are classrooms, research bases, office areas, student squares and teachers' salons. There is a 15 floor between the two floors, namely the reading room and the reference room; The podium is symmetrical, with classrooms as the main building in the west and lecture halls as the main building in the east.

Science Library: It is located on the west side of the statue of Chairman Mao and on the south side of Yijiao. On the east and west sides of the first floor are general reading rooms, where you can borrow books. On the north side of the second floor (less than the second floor) are books in the electronic reading room and library, and books in the library can also be borrowed. On the east and west sides of the second floor are the magazine reading room and the original reading room respectively. To the south is the study room.

Liberal Arts Library: Located on the south side of Handan Road and the east side of Guonian Road.

The first teaching building: located on the north side of the library and the south side of the four corners. It is a place for computer teaching and students to surf the Internet.

The second teaching building: located in the south of Sanjiao, the north of Xiyuan and the east of Mao Zedong Impression. The third floor is the place where international students attend classes. There are many small classrooms, and students' foreign language learning is basically in the second teaching.

The third teaching building: located in the north of Joule, south of Liren Biological Building. After 6:30 pm, there will be various lectures in classrooms 3 108, 3 106 and 3208 of the Third Institute of Education, which is the best place for Fudan students to absorb rich extracurricular knowledge and communicate with their academic predecessors.

The fourth teaching building: located on the north side of the optical building, and on the south side of the genetic building and Yifu building.

The fifth teaching building: located in the south of Handan Road, east of Quanguo Road, and in the south area. The liberal arts building is in the north, and the Sixth Faculty is in the south. 530 1 is one of the main places for enterprises to hold presentations.

Statue of Mao Zedong: In order to stand without a hat, it was one of the landmark buildings of the school before the construction of Guanghua Building, located on the central axis of the campus. Yanyuan: Located in the east of the old school gate and west of the south gate (Quanguo Road). In the middle is a large lawn called Democracy Square, and there are rockeries, ponds, waterfalls, century clocks and other landscapes near the south side of the lawn.

Xiyuan: Located on the east side of the main entrance and on the west side of the south gate (Guoshun Road). There is a round lotus pond in it. In summer, lotus flowers are in full bloom, or there are noisy frogs. In the morning, the sound of reading is one after another; At dusk, lovers pair off.

Student Dormitory: Handan Campus * * *, with four student dormitory areas, of which the headquarters, the eastern area and the southern area are undergraduate dormitory areas, which are the student residential areas of Renzhong College, Zhide College and Sid College of Fudan University respectively; The student apartments in the North District are mainly for graduate students and international students.

Located in the teaching area of the department. It consists of several blue brick dormitory buildings built in the 1970s and 1980s. The original conditions were not good, and great progress was made after the transformation. After the renovation, there are generally 4 people in the dormitory, and there are 2 public toilets on each floor. Good geographical location, convenient to all teaching buildings. Accommodation fee is now 1200 yuan/year.

It turned out to be the location of the four earliest colleges established by Fudan University. From 20 12, it was changed to Renzhong College, and other colleges moved out.

South zone xide academy

Located in the large student apartment area south of Handan Road and west of Lu and Su Road. Dormitories for three or four people, each with a bathroom. Track and field, Zheng Da Gymnasium, swimming pool and Southern District Student Activity Center are located in the park, so it is very convenient to carry out sports. There is a canteen in the south district. It's close to the teaching area and a street in the southern district, but far from the headquarters, so you need to cross the road outside the school. Accommodation fee is now 1200 yuan/year. It is the largest residential area for undergraduates in Fudan University.

The South District is the seat of Sid College. In addition, Keqing College and Tengfei College, headquartered in LAM Raymond Campus and Zhangjiang Campus, have also set up branch schools here to accommodate junior students from these two colleges.

Eastern Zhide College

Located on the east side of the teaching area of the headquarters, facing Guanghua Building across the national road. Dormitory for 4 people, public toilet. There are basically no large facilities in the park except the art education center, and all activities need to be carried out at the headquarters. Accommodation fee is now 1200 yuan/year. Since 20 12, it has become the seat of Zhide College, and other colleges have moved out one after another.

North zone student apartment

Located in the northwest corner of Handan campus, it reaches Wuchuan Road in the west and Wudong Road in the north, which is a large student apartment area opposite to Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. The living conditions of Fudan University are the best. There are 2 people in the dormitory (doctoral students are single rooms), and every 3 or 4 rooms form a unit, equipped with facilities such as toilets and water dispensers. There is a north dining hall and a north gymnasium. Poor geographical location, far from the main teaching area. Accommodation fee is now 1600 yuan/year. Mainly for graduate students, the northwest corner of the park is the apartment for international students.
