2. The School of Economics of Central South University of Forestry and Technology was formerly the Department of Economics and Trade of Central South Forestry College, which was established in 1995. 1997 was renamed Economic and Trade College. In 2005, it merged with the financial accounting major of Hunan Forestry School to form a business school. In 2006, two majors of finance, international economy and trade in business school merged with three majors of Hunan Economic Cadre Management College to form economy. The college has three undergraduate majors: finance, international economy and trade, and insurance, and there are 1 two master's degree authorization points-technical economy and management; 65,438+0 doctoral degree authorization points in two disciplines-forestry ecological economy and management; 2 professional master's degree authorization field. At present, there are 70 faculty members, 58 professional teachers, 28 full and associate professors, master tutor 18 and doctoral tutor 1 person.
