At the same time, in cooperation with our party's anti-Japanese propaganda, we have done a lot of work for the early realization of cooperation between the two parties. 1936, he accepted the suggestion of the responsible comrades of our party, resigned from his post in Shanxi University and went to work in the comprehensive department of the university. The peaceful liberation of Peiping is an event of great historical significance in the history of China's war of liberation. In this important political event, as the main representative of General Fu's peace talks, he participated in the whole process of negotiations on the peaceful liberation of Peiping. Later, as one of the representatives of General Fu, he participated in the negotiations of Suiyuan peaceful uprising. He repeatedly asked to resume or rejoin the party. Soon the party organization considered the peaceful liberation of Beiping and the peaceful uprising of Suiyuan. Zhou Beifeng used to be the director of the Water Resources Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the vice chairman of CPPCC of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the vice chairman of the government and the deputy director of the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC), and was elected as the representative of the first to the seventh National People's Congress.
