Chemistry: This major cultivates talents who have good scientific and cultural literacy, can systematically and solidly master basic knowledge, basic theory and basic skills of chemistry, have innovative consciousness and practical ability, and can engage in scientific research and teaching in chemistry and related fields. Be able to engage in production and scientific research in chemistry and related fields.
2. Computer Science and Technology: This major cultivates all-round development of morality, intelligence and physique, and grasps the basic knowledge of mathematics and natural science, as well as the basic theories and knowledge related to computers, networks and information systems. Have strong professional ability and good comprehensive quality, be competent for the research, development and application of computer science, and work in IT enterprises.
3. Chinese Language and Literature: This major trains students to have a solid foundation of Chinese language and literature, good humanistic quality, be familiar with the basic knowledge of Chinese and China literature, have strong aesthetic ability and Chinese expression ability, have preliminary language and literature research ability, have certain cross-cultural communication ability, and can work in enterprises such as culture, education, publishing and media institutions.
Yunnan University:
Yunnan University (Yunnan University for short) is a key university founded by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Yunnan Province. It is a national "double-class" "2 1 1 engineering" university and one of the earliest comprehensive universities established in the western frontier of China. The school is located in Kunming, Yunnan Province, and its motto is "self-respect, knowledge, justice and practice".
The school covers an area of 4,367 mu and has two campuses, Chenggong and Donglu.
