This major requires students to have solid basic knowledge of mathematics, physics and chemistry, and master the basic theories, knowledge and skills of soil and water conservation planning, design, construction, monitoring, management, scheme preparation, budget preparation, prevention and supervision through the cultivation of basic theories, knowledge and skills of soil and water conservation and desertification control.

The requirements are as follows:

1. Master the basic laws and knowledge of soil erosion and land desertification;

2. Master the planning and design methods and technologies of watershed management and desertification control;

3. Have the skills of using comprehensive measures such as biology and engineering to prevent and control soil erosion and desertification;

4. Master the basic theories and skills of monitoring, prevention, supervision and evaluation of soil erosion and desertification, and be able to complete the compilation of soil and water conservation plans and budgets for development and construction projects;

5. Understand the theoretical frontier, application prospect and development trend of soil and water conservation and desertification control;

6 familiar with the principles, policies and regulations of soil and water conservation and desertification control;

7. Master the basic methods of literature retrieval and data query, and have certain scientific research and practical work ability in watershed management, desertification control and forestry ecological engineering construction. Educational system: four years
