Northwest university of politics and law has two campuses, Chang 'an Campus in the south and Yanta Campus in the north. Among them, Chang 'an Campus is the new campus of the school.

Northwest university of politics and law Yanta and Chang 'an Campus * * * cover an area of 1.347 mu, with 18 colleges and 32 undergraduate majors. Northwest university of politics and law South Campus is adjacent to Xi University of Posts and Telecommunications and Shaanxi Normal University; Yanta Campus of North Campus is located between Chang 'an South Road and Zhuque Street, opposite Xi 'an Martyrs Cemetery, and close to Xi International Studies University and Xi University of Finance and Economics.

Northwest university of politics and law is a modern garden-style campus with elegant environment and good learning atmosphere. In 2002, when the school was building Chang 'an Campus, it excavated the tomb of Zhang Tang, a famous historical figure in the period of Emperor Wu of the Western Han Dynasty. The school also built an archaeological excavation monument with typical Han Dynasty style, China legal cultural relics and legal culture exhibition hall and memorial pavilion on the site.
