At the end of 1997, with the approval of Huaiyin (later renamed Huai 'an) Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, the Municipal Vocational Education Center and the Municipal Radio and TV University merged to form Huaiyin Senior Vocational and Technical School. From 2005 to 2006, the Municipal Information Engineering School (formerly Textile School) and the Municipal Women's Vocational School successively entered the higher vocational schools. Schools and reform and opening up share the same fate and have gone through a difficult course. Huai 'an Radio and TV University has successively held adult junior college education, general junior college education, TV technical secondary school education and registered audio-visual education. 65438-0999 School became the first batch of pilot schools of "China Central Radio and TV University's talent training mode reform and open education". It has successively set up more than ten undergraduate and specialist majors in Chinese language and literature, elementary education, finance, business administration, accounting and law, and has jurisdiction over Jinhu County, Hongze County and Xuyi County. In 2005, the school joined the Open Distance Education of Ao Peng, which flourished and made outstanding contributions to the popularization of local higher education in Huai 'an. In 2006, with the development of higher vocational education, the school was renamed as Huai 'an School of Jiangsu City Vocational and Technical College (affiliated to Jiangsu TV University).
