The history of Jining Normal University can be traced back to 193 1 Suiyuan Provincial Second Normal School, which was founded in Jining by the former Suiyuan Province. 1958 Jining Teachers College was established, and in the same year the State Council approved the establishment of Wulanchabu League Teachers College; 1985 the people's government of the autonomous region approved the establishment of Wulanchabu Teachers College on the basis of the class of Wumeng Teachers College.
1995, renamed Jining Normal University; In 2000, Wulanchabu League Normal School and Wulanchabu League Mongolian Normal School were merged into Jining Normal College; In 2009, the Ministry of Education approved the establishment of Jining Teachers College on the basis of Jining Teachers College; 20 13, the school obtained the right to award bachelor's degree.
