The characteristics of our Sino-foreign cooperative education program are: strengthening foreign language teaching, utilizing foreign educational resources, introducing foreign original textbooks, absorbing the syllabus and teaching plan of overseas cooperative universities, inviting foreign professors and professional scholars to give lectures in China, and mutual recognition of credits by Chinese and foreign educational institutions to study in China, so that both Chinese and foreign students can obtain diplomas.
Since 1999, our school has successively carried out the following cooperative education projects:
1. In cooperation with TAFE College in Australia, we have held three sessions of * * * and trained 246 students. These students graduated as scheduled, obtained the higher vocational diploma from TAFE College in Australia, and obtained the certification from the certification body of the Ministry of Education.
2. Cooperate with Armstrong University in the United States to train MBA and MBA. * * * 25 students graduated as scheduled and obtained corresponding degrees from Armstrong University in the United States;
3. Cooperated with Cook University in new york to organize international business management projects, and the graduates obtained the bachelor's degree diploma in management from Cook University in the United States, and were certified by the certification body of the Ministry of Education.
4. The undergraduate education program of international economy and trade (international business management direction) and financial management (international finance direction) organized in cooperation with Cook University in new york, USA, was included in the undergraduate enrollment plan in 2002, and graduated from the first undergraduate course in 2006, and the graduates obtained a double bachelor's degree in economy/management in China and the United States.
5. The professional project of computer science and technology (information processing direction) organized in cooperation with Kyoto Computer College of Japan was brought into undergraduate education in 20 12, and was especially welcomed by employers for its characteristics. The employment rate reached 98%, and some students were directly sent to Japan for training or work by employers after graduation.
6. The undergraduate education program of bioengineering (brewing and distillation) jointly organized with Heriot Watt University in the UK began to enroll students in 20 14. Those who pass the examination can get a bachelor's degree and diploma in general higher education from Tianjin University of Science and Technology, and study in the UK for 1 year. Those who pass the examination can get a bachelor's degree in brewing and differentiation from Herry University (bachelor's degree certificate in brewing and distillation).
At present, the Chinese-foreign cooperative education projects for undergraduate education in our university are:
1. Cooperation with Cook College in new york, USA:
Business major, those who pass the exam will get a double bachelor's degree in economics/management between China and the United States.
2. Cooperation with Kyoto Information Technology University, Japan:
Computer science and technology major (information processing direction), Japanese is the first foreign language, and you can study in Japan for one year when Japanese reaches the international second level during your study at school. Those who pass the examination will receive the undergraduate diploma and bachelor's degree from Tianjin University of Science and Technology.
3. Cooperation with Southern Cross University:
Financial management major, which implements independent teaching plan, strengthens English teaching in the first year of school, and those who pass the examination get bachelor's degrees in management from both China and Australia when they graduate.
