Harris School of Policy, University of Chicago, offers 202 1 Data and Policy Summer Scholar Program (DPSS), which adopts online teaching and interactive mode and is open to international undergraduates and master students. The University of Chicago will provide scholarships ranging from $300 to $800 for some outstanding applicants. Students who apply before the priority deadline are entitled to a tuition fee reduction of $300.

Students are required to complete 18 postgraduate courses, including at least 7 courses in public policy schools and 6 computer courses. In the first year, students study computer, statistics and policy analysis, and in the second year, they study microeconomics and macroeconomics, as well as elective courses. In addition to the courses in the School of Public Policy and the Department of Computer Science, students can also choose courses in the Business School, the School of Social Work, the Department of Economics, the Department of Statistics, the Department of Social Sciences, the Law School and the Toyota Technology Center in Chicago.
Msapp students will study most of the core courses of MPP. In addition, Msapp students also need to take additional courses such as computer programming, data analysis mathematics, database and machine learning.
Graduates of MSCAPP can become civil technology experts, data scientists, policy researchers and so on.
