I. Admission requirements
Academic:
Students applying for undergraduate courses at the University of New South Wales need to finish their first year of undergraduate courses at regular universities in China, or get a diploma from a university or college. Most undergraduate majors are admitted by China students through the college entrance examination. Undergraduate majors in art design and medicine are required to score more than 80% in college entrance examination, 80%-88% in science, literature and social sciences, 80%-85% in building environment, 83%-88% in business and 85%-88% in engineering. In addition to the results of college entrance examination, the undergraduate course of the school also recognizes the results of various international courses and international examinations, such as A-level, IB, SAT and so on.
Language:
Students applying for undergraduate courses in this school are required to have a total score of 6.5 in IELTS, a score of not less than 6.0 in all parts, or a total score of 90 in TOEFL. The score of writing part is not less than 23, and the score of listening, speaking and reading part is not less than 22.
Preparatory course: students who fail to meet the requirements of undergraduate course need to complete preparatory course, and the GPA requirement of high school is above 80.
Second, the application time
The school starts in February and July every year, and submits the examination transcripts of seven semesters in mid-August every year, and ends the application on August 3 1. The application period is 4-6 weeks, and the application time is at least 4 months before the annual admission time. Whether you can enter the school smoothly depends on whether you meet all the requirements, such as language, academic performance and so on. The sooner you prepare, the better.
Third, the application process
The first step is to choose the course you want to take before entering the exam to see if it meets the requirements of universities and courses.
Step 2: Fill in the online application form and submit an application fee of 100 Australian dollars.
The third step is to upload the application materials. Materials include high school diploma, college entrance examination report card, Chinese report card and high school report card. These materials require public documents in both Chinese and English, as well as letters of recommendation, resumes and personal statements.
The fourth step is to pay tuition fees in exchange for coe after getting the admission notice from the school.
Step five, apply for a visa and prepare to fly to Australia.
