Suzhou University is a provincial university in Jiangsu Province.

Suzhou University is one of the first universities listed in the national "2 1 1 Project". It is a "double-class" university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Jiangsu Province, and a key comprehensive university in Jiangsu Province.

Suzhou University has 12 disciplines, including philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, management and art. There are 5,847 faculty members and 33 19 full-time teachers, and a strong, well-structured and energetic talent team has taken shape.

There are 36 colleges (departments) in the school, with 27,897 full-time undergraduates, 5943 master students/KLOC-0, 50,665,438 doctoral students and 2765,438 international students/KLOC-0.
