University history:
Nantong University School of Medicine (including School of Nursing) was formerly Nantong Medical College, which was established in March of 19 12. Nantong Medical College was founded by Zhang Jian, the champion of the late Qing Dynasty, and his brother Zhang Yinlou. It is one of the earliest medical colleges in China. In the early days, the school mainly trained doctors and medical staff who integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine. Up to now, it has a history of11year.
