2 directly recruited as non-commissioned officers, the ranks are as follows:

Non-commissioned officers who are directly recruited from graduates of ordinary colleges and universities shall be given an order to serve as non-commissioned officers by the receiving troops in accordance with the examination and approval authority for selecting non-commissioned officers, awarded the corresponding rank of non-commissioned officers, and promoted according to the prescribed number of years.

(a) graduated from college or engaged in the professional work after graduation 1 year, appointed as a staff sergeant and awarded the rank of corporal; Those who have reached 1 year and less than 4 years are appointed as second-class non-commissioned officers and awarded the rank of non-commissioned officers; Those who have served for more than 4 years but less than 8 years will be appointed as the third-class master sergeant and awarded the rank of staff sergeant.

(2) Undergraduate students who graduated this year are awarded the rank of corporal at Grade 5, and those who have been engaged in professional work for less than three years after graduation are determined to be the rank of sergeant at Grade 2, and are awarded the rank of sergeant; Those who have served for more than 3 years but less than 7 years will be appointed as the third-class master sergeant and awarded the rank of staff sergeant.

3. If it is an officer, in accordance with the provisions of Article 15 of the Regulations of China People's Liberation Army on the Rank of Officers:

Newly appointed officers shall be awarded ranks for the first time in accordance with the following provisions:

(a) graduated from a military secondary specialized school and awarded the rank of second lieutenant;

College graduates awarded the rank of second lieutenant, can be awarded in accordance with the relevant provisions of the General Political Department of China People's Liberation Army;

University graduates are awarded the rank of lieutenant, and in accordance with the relevant provisions of the General Political Department of the People's Liberation Army, they can be awarded the rank of second lieutenant;

Those who have obtained a master's degree shall be awarded the rank of captain, and in accordance with the relevant provisions of the General Political Department of the People's Liberation Army of China, the rank of lieutenant may be awarded; If a graduate student has not obtained a master's degree, he shall be awarded the rank of lieutenant;

Those who receive a doctorate shall be awarded the rank of major, and may be awarded the rank of captain in accordance with the relevant provisions of the General Political Department of the People's Liberation Army of China.
