China University of Science and Technology is the University of Science and Technology of China. China Academy of Sciences, located in Hefei, Anhui Province, is a comprehensive national key university with cutting-edge science and high technology, as well as medicine, characteristic management and humanities. Directly under the central government, it is jointly built by China Academy of Sciences, Ministry of Education and Anhui Province.

At present, the school has 23 colleges (including 6 colleges with the integration of science and education) and 33 departments, including Graduate School, Department of Life Sciences and Medicine, Department of Information and Intelligence, Suzhou Research Institute, Shanghai Research Institute, Beijing Research Institute, Advanced Technology Research Institute and the First Affiliated Hospital of China University of Science and Technology (Anhui Provincial Hospital).

China University of Science and Technology was originally a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education. Later, the Ministry of Education decided to move the school to Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province, which belongs to the National 985 University. The school has trained a large number of scientific and technological talents for the country, with a strong faculty and a number of academicians of the two academies.

China University of Science and Technology is located at No.96 Jinzhai Road, Hefei City, Anhui Province. It is a national key science and engineering university with cutting-edge science and high technology, characteristic management and humanities directly under China Academy of Sciences. It is also the first batch of national key construction institutions of "2 1 1 Project" and "985 Project".

China University of Science and Technology 1958 was founded in Beijing, and 1970 moved to Hefei, Anhui Province, with Guo Moruo as the first president. This school is known as the "cradle of scientific and technological talents" in China and enjoys a high reputation at home and abroad.
