He went to Sri Lanka, Tibet, Xinjiang, Ningxia, Hainan, Anhui, Guizhou and other poverty-stricken areas for cataract surgery for the blind, five times in Tibet and three times in Xinjiang. He has traveled almost all the remote provinces in China, trekked thousands of waters in Qian Shan and experienced many difficulties and dangers.
