Shenyang Gong Li University, located in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, is a university jointly established by the State Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, China Ordnance Industry Corporation, China Ordnance Industry Corporation and Liaoning Provincial People's Government. It is an ordinary higher public school. It is a multidisciplinary university with distinctive national defense characteristics, which integrates science, management, literature, economics, law and art, and it is a unit of China Weapons Collaborative Innovation Alliance. It is a specialized industrial school, formerly known as the Military Industry Department of the Northeast Military Region.

Established in 1948. 1960 shenyang ligong university was founded, and it was renamed as Shenyang Gong Li University with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2004. 20 10 Liaoning Provincial People's Government signed an agreement with China Ordnance Equipment Group and China Ordnance Industry Group to jointly build Shenyang Gong Li University. In 20 16, it was approved that "the National Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense and the People's Government of Liaoning Province jointly established a university" and became a national defense college jointly established by the provincial bureau.
