Xi Youshi University is an undergraduate university directly under People's Republic of China (PRC) and Shaanxi Petrochemical Group Co., Ltd., located at Fengcheng No.1 Road, weiyang district, Xi City, Shaanxi Province, China. The school, formerly known as Shaanxi Petroleum Technical School, was established in 195 1. Later, after several developments and reforms, it was renamed Xi Youshi University in 2005. Xi Youshi University is an engineering university with work as the center and coordinated development of industrial management, science and engineering, industry and commerce. The school has 48 undergraduate majors, 23 graduate majors and 2 doctoral majors.

Characteristic major

1, petroleum engineering major: petroleum engineering is one of the dominant majors of Xi Anyou University. The school has a strong faculty and scientific research strength in the field of petroleum engineering, and has trained a large number of professionals with practical ability and innovative spirit in petroleum exploration, development and production.

2. Chemical Engineering and Technology Major: This major trains engineers and technicians in petroleum, chemical industry and related industries. Students will receive systematic training in chemistry, chemical principles and processes, chemical equipment and automation, and have the ability of chemical process design, production technology and safety management.

3. Mining engineering major: Mining engineering major trains engineers with high level of mining technology and management.
