Jinan University, referred to as "Jinan University", is headquartered in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. Its predecessor was Jinan School, which was founded by the Qing government in Nanjing on 1906. Later, it moved to Shanghai, and 1927 was renamed as National Jinan University. During his stay in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, he moved to Jianyang, Fujian. 1946 moved back to Shanghai,1949 merged with Fudan University, Jiaotong University and other universities in August.

195 1 10 In June, the Teachers College of National Sun Yat-sen University and the Department of Education of Private South China United University merged into Guangdong University of Arts and Sciences to establish South China Teachers College. 1970 was renamed Guangdong Normal University, 1977 was renamed South China Normal University, and 1982 was renamed South China Normal University.
