Introduction of solar concentrator
1988 February 12, a research team led by physicist Roland Winston of the University of Chicago conducted an experiment on the roof of a building in the University of Chicago. Winston used a new technology and a new reflector to make the concentrated sunlight reach 60,000 times the intensity of ordinary sunlight, which is equivalent to the energy intensity of the sun's surface.
