From April 17 to April 18, the Cultural Section of the Embassy of China in Ukraine and the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine held the China Nanjing Cultural Day in Kiev Ukraine House International Convention and Exhibition Center. The reporter interviewed Dr. Shi Yajun, the Chinese president of the Confucius Institute at Kiev State Language and Culture University and an associate professor at Tianjin Foreign Studies University, on the spread of Ukrainian culture in Ukraine and the cultural exchange between Ukraine and China.
Reporter: What do you think is the significance of holding the China Culture and Art Exhibition in Ukraine?
History: The China artists' delegation entered Ukraine this time, and presented the Ukrainian people with a feast of sight, hearing, smell and taste of China culture and art, such as China calligraphy and painting, paper cutting, flower arrangement, guqin and tea art, through exhibitions, exhibitions and interactive experiences, which is of great significance for the Ukrainian people to get a close look at the history, culture and art of China and promote mutual understanding and cultural exchanges between China and Ukraine.
