South China University is located in Hengyang City, Hunan Province, and is jointly established by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the National Health and Wellness Commission, the National Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, China National Nuclear Corporation and the Hunan Provincial People's Government. It is a first-class university in Hunan Province, supported by the basic capacity building project of universities in central and western China, and the country is "1 165438".
Selected into excellent engineer education and training plan, excellent doctor education and training plan, national environmental protection training base, national college students' innovation and entrepreneurship training plan, national new engineering research and practice project, national international science and technology cooperation base, national innovative talent training demonstration base, national nuclear emergency publicity and training base, and national nuclear emergency medical rescue team.
South China University is a multi-disciplinary university (founded in 1958) which was merged in May 2000 by Central South Institute of Technology, which was originally affiliated to the Ministry of Nuclear Industry, and Hengyang Medical College, which was originally affiliated to Hunan Province. From June 5438 to October 2002 10, the Sixth Research Institute of Nuclear Industry, which was originally affiliated to the Ministry of Nuclear Industry, was merged into the University of South China.
