The campus network of Chongqing University is an important infrastructure for implementing school informatization and a necessary condition for building a first-class university. It is a computer network that provides information services for teaching, scientific research, discipline construction and management of the whole school, realizes the interconnection of all units in the campus and the sharing of information resources, and is interconnected with other public networks through CERNET. In order to give full play to the role of the campus network and ensure the safe and reliable operation of the campus network, the General Rules for Construction and Management is formulated.

I. Construction and Management Objectives

The goal of Chongqing University campus network construction and management is to build a high-speed, stable, safe and manageable campus network with digital campus construction and application as the core, relying on network technology and taking the next generation Internet research as the opportunity, which fully reflects the advanced nature, high security and reliability of the system, and has good openness and expansibility, and to build a high-speed, stable, safe and manageable campus network that can cover all buildings and pass through China Education and Research Network.

Second, the principles of construction and management

The construction and management of Chongqing University Campus Network adhere to three principles:

1, the principle of high reliability. Campus network is an important infrastructure of the school. The application environment and system types it faces are complex and diverse, and the school's work depends more and more on the network, so it is necessary to ensure the high reliability of the network.

2. The principle of practical application. Focus on all kinds of applications, especially the core applications of the school, adhere to the practical principle, rational layout and refined management, and put an end to the waste of equipment and network traffic in construction and management.

3. The principle of "unified planning, unified export, hierarchical construction and management". Campus network unified planning, the whole school unified export to the Internet. Information and Network Management Center is responsible for the construction and management of campus network communication exchange center, backbone network, family area and student dormitory network. The secondary department appoints a special person to be responsible for the construction and management of the office network and the network information security of the department.

Iii. Construction and management institutions

Under the leadership of the school party committee and administration, Chongqing University Digital Campus Leading Group and Chongqing University Information Security Leading Group were established to be responsible for the examination and approval of campus network construction planning, listen to the work reports of relevant functional departments and examine and approve major projects.

Information and Network Management Center is a specialized organization for the construction and management of campus network. Under the leadership of the principal in charge, be responsible for the planning, construction, operation, maintenance and management of digital campus and campus network, cooperate with other departments to carry out network information security management, carry out publicity and education for network users, and provide various information services based on campus network.

Four, construction and management should follow laws and regulations.

Users of campus network (including units, organizations and individuals) must strictly abide by and implement the following laws and regulations: Regulations on International Networking of Computer Information Networks in People's Republic of China (PRC), Regulations on Security Protection of Computer Information Systems in People's Republic of China (PRC), and Administrative Measures for Security Protection of International Networking of Computer Information Networks of the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China. Interim Measures for the Administration of Internet Domain Name Registration in China Interim Measures for the Administration of Computer Networks for Education and Scientific Research in China China Regulations for Users of Computer Networks for Education and Scientific Research Relevant Administrative Measures for Chongqing University Campus Network.

All users are obliged to report violations of the above laws and regulations to the Information and Network Management Center, and must report violations to the school security department. Those who violate the law will be punished by the school according to the seriousness of the case, and those who are serious will be sent to the public security organs for legal responsibility according to law.
