East China University of Science and Technology raises tuition fees
East China University of Science and Technology will increase the tuition fees of some science and engineering and sports freshmen by 54% to 7% per academic year, and 700 yuan will increase the tuition fees of liberal arts majors by 30% to 6,500 yuan per academic year. The tuition fees of science and engineering in Shanghai Electric Power University rose by 40% to 7,000 yuan per academic year, while those of management, economics and literature rose by 30% to 6,500 yuan per academic year.

According to the Notice of Jilin Province on the Adjustment of Undergraduate Tuition Structure of Public Colleges and Universities in Jilin Province, the tuition standard is adjusted structurally, and it is clearly proposed to support and dock the double-class construction. On the basis of basic tuition fees, the tuition fees of subordinate colleges and universities shall not rise by more than 15%, and the tuition fees of national and provincial first-class majors shall not rise by more than 10%.
