Heilongjiang Bayi Agricultural University (HBAU) is a full-time college in Heilongjiang Province, which has a complete education system for training bachelor, master and doctor.

It is one of the first batch of pilot universities for the reform of "Excellent Agricultural and Forestry Talents Education and Training Plan", one of the national "Basic Capacity Building Project for Central and Western Universities" and one of the typical universities with national experience in graduate employment.

The school was built in 1958. 1973 The school was placed under the management of Heilongjiang Province by the Ministry of Land Reclamation. The original site of the school is located in Peide Town, Mishan City, Heilongjiang Province. Approved by the provincial government, the school moved to Daqing High-tech Development Zone in June 2003.

By June 2022, the school was located in Daqing High-tech Industrial Development Zone, with a total floor area of1200,400 square meters, a building area of 407,000 square meters, total fixed assets of13.45 million yuan, teaching and research instruments and equipment of 336 million yuan and books of 21kloc-0.
