The forensic medicine specialty of Wannan Medical College was approved by Anhui Provincial Health Department on March 2006 1986, and the Forensic Medicine College was established in July 2006. Fudan University School of Basic Medicine, formerly known as the Department of Basic Medicine of Shanghai First Medical College, was established in April 1955.
