There are many universities with excellent architecture majors in China, among which the "Old Eight Schools of Architecture" is the first institution to offer architecture majors, and it is also a top architectural school. They are Tsinghua University, Southeast University, Tianjin University, Tongji University, former Harbin Jianzhu University (merged into Harbin Institute of Technology), South China University of Technology, former chongqing jianzhu university (merged into Chongqing University) and Xi University of Architecture and Technology.
